Issue:
Performing service on one circuit. Circuit is currently in a vacuum.
- Chiller will not start circuit that is not in alarm
- Circuit in alarm is out of refrigerant
- The Very Low Evaporator Refrigerant Pressure alarm is intended to protect the chiller when suction pressure transducers are assigned to the opposite circuit
Resolution:
- Lock out the circuit which is either out of refrigerant or under a vacuum during repair.
- Disconnect the suction pressure transducer from the IPC bus
- This will generate a communication loss, but will be isolated to the single circuit
- Verify all devices are bound correctly LLID Binding (Tracer TU)
- Reset alarm
