Attention: Creative Solutions modifications do not have a labor warranty.
Trane Creative Solutions (TCS) modifications come with a standard 1 year part warranty (not to exceed 18 months from startup). Extended part warranties are available when the modification(s) are ordered, so the type of warranty provided will vary on a job-by-job basis. You'll need the following information to check the warrant status of options provided by Creative Solutions:
1. Special Unit label Job Number which starts with CST and is located at the top of the TCS supplementary label. When a unit is modified by TCS, two supplementary labels are placed on the equipment which lists important information about the modification. One is located on the outside of the unit in close proximity to original equipment standard model/serial nameplate tag. The second label may be located on the inside of an electric panel near the standard unit drawings. See the article below for more information.
2. Unit serial number. (Note: The serial number used by TCS is the same serial number assigned by the original Trane factory.)
3. If warranty is concerning a part, a picture of the component or the supplier’s model/serial tag is helpful for expedited part number look-up.
4. Desired ship to address, who's attention the replacement will be shipped to, recipients phone number, and urgency.
Please note, these are custom components and lead time may be high. We will do our best to expedite requests. All part deliveries require a signature.

If the part fails within the warranty period, TCS will ship the replacement part(s) to the address you provide. If the unit is outside of the warranty period, TCS will assist in identifying the part and forwarding ordering instructions.
Please contact TCS support immediately if you find issues with product workmanship or other failures on options added by TCS. Our technical support team will work with you to determine the appropriate next steps.
Tips for expedited parts requests
If you have a unit that is modified and you’re not sure if the defective component is part of the TCS modification, please feel free to contact TCS support first.
NOTE: Parts supplied in TCS modifications are not found on Comfortsite or available through Parts ID.
TCS part numbers may be located on the TCS supplied As-Built drawings that are shipped with the unit and will be found in a box called out as "CST Replacement Parts". The box is typically located near the notes section or legend.
