*LCU Precedent 6-10 Ton how do I adjust Fan Speed on a BC Plenum?
Overview:
How to properly set the indoor fan speed on a Precedent 6-10 ton Reliatel unit.
Process (steps 1-8):
1. Is the Indoor Fan Energized/Running? If yes then continue to the next step, if no then Give the Indoor Fan a command to run .
2. Does the R136 pot (DA Cool – Fan SP) on the Reliatel Options Module (RTOM) adjust the J11 DC voltage output to increase and decrease Fan Speed? If no then continue to the next step, if yes then go to step 7.
3. Does the unit have a TD5 installed? If yes then continue to the next step, if no then go to step 5.
4. Is the TD5 in Read Only Mode? If not set the TD5 to Read Only Mode in the Setup Menu and go to step 7.
5. Does the Unit have a BAS module installed (BCI/LCI)? If yes then continue to the next step, if no then go to step 7.
6. IF LCI and Rover is available disable the NCIMinSupFanCap and NCIMaxSupFanCap. If BCI and BO-1 is set to “BAS Mode” set the AO-44 & 45 points to “out of service” to enable the local pot. Then proceed to the next step.
7. Use the RTOM R-136 to set desired RPM/Airflow (the range for the J11 output voltage is 2.5 Vdc – 7.6Vdc so depending on the % of the output if SZVAV or MZVAV keep in mind the total output range).
8. End.
