- *LCU Installing DCV on an Electromechanical Precedent with a Gray Trane Economizer Module
Here are 3 options.
Option 1:
Use a DCV kit for a Reliatel Precedent Unit (just be sure not to install the Reliatel Economizer Module provided in the kit) and wire it as shown below. If you wire the CO2 sensor as shown, you don’t have to worry about the OUT2 jumper position.
Option 2:
Use a Foundation Kit and wire as shown below. Again if you wire the CO2 sensor as shown, you don’t have to worry about the OUT2 jumper position.
Option 3:
Wire directly to the Economizer Module as shown below, you just need to come up with a 2 pin plug. Two options for obtaining a 2 pin plug are Trane Part numbers WIR04126 or BAYSENS016 and then cut and splice.
