Overview:
Two diagnostics / alarms you may see on a Symbio 700 requiring a power cycle on the unit to clear.
Diagnostic: Supply Fan Failure
If the Symbio 700 requests the Supply Fan VFD to run, and the VFD fails to run for 40 continuous seconds, this failure will be detected.
All unit functions will be shut down immediately – Requires Manual Reset or Power Cycle.
One thing we found in Tech Support that can cause a Supply Fan Failure Diagnostic is VFD Parameter 8-01 set to Digital only (Should be Controlword only with a Symbio Condenser)
Supply Fan VFD Communication Status
If continual loss of communication between the controller and the VFD has occurred for a 30 second period, this failure will be detected.
All unit functions will be shut down immediately – Requires Manual Reset or Power Cycle.
