Charging Charts
Charging charts and pressure curves are available for Odyssey condensers with Symbio 700 controls in the Help Center using the Links below or by checking the inside of the compressor access panel on the unit:
Charging charts and pressure curves are available for Odyssey condensers with ReliaTel or Electromechanical controls in the Service Facts document shipped with the unit. If that document is missing, they can be downloaded from Elibrary and using the first 7 digits of the model number.

Odyssey Condensers With Symbio 700 Controls
Understanding the charge information on the the chart:

The Circuit 1 charge amount of 8.7# is for a matching Odyssey AHU and 25' of line set.
Example 1
Using this amount this information, lets calculate a charge for a system with 87' of line set
Start by subtracting the included 25' from the total:
- 87' - 25' = 62'
Now, multiply the Charge per foot value by the remaining line set:
- 62' x 1.26oz = 78.12 Ounces
This needs to be converted to pounds:
- 78.12oz / 16 = 4.8825#
Now add this to the Circuit 1 charge amount of 8.7#:
- 8.7# + 4.8825# = 13.5825#
Example 2
Using this amount this information, lets calculate a charge for a system with 19' of line set
Since we are below the 25' included in the Circuit 1 information, we will use the value in Note2 which does not include the 25'.
Multiply the Charge per foot value by the line set:
- 17' x 1.26oz = 21.42 Ounces
This needs to be converted to pounds:
- 21.42oz / 16 = 1.33875#
Now add this to the Circuit 1 charge amount of 8.7#:
- 6.7# + 1.33875# = 8.03875#

Understanding the Service Facts Charging Information
The Circuit 1 charge amount of 13.1# is for a matching Odyssey AHU and 25' of line set (1/2" & 1 3/8" tube).
Example 1
Using this amount this information, lets calculate a charge for a system with 55' of line set (45' Horizontal, 10' Vertical)
Start by subtracting the included 25' from the total (assuming 25' is Horizontal):
- 55' - 25' = 30'
- 20' Horizontal
- 10' Vertical
Now, multiply the Charge per foot value by the remaining line set:
- 20' x 1.65oz = 33 Ounces
- 10 x 1.45oz = 14.5 Ounces
This needs to be converted to pounds:
- 33oz / 16 = 2.0625#
- 14.5oz / 16 = 0.90625#
Now add this to the Circuit 1 charge amount of 8.7#:
13.1# + 2.0625# + 0.90625# = 16.06875#
Example 2
Using this amount this information, lets calculate a charge for a system with 21' of line set (16' Horizontal, 5' Vertical)
Multiply the Charge per foot value by the remaining line set:
- 16' x 1.65oz = 26.4 Ounces
- 5 x 1.45oz = 7.25 Ounces
This needs to be converted to pounds:
- 26.4oz / 16 = 1.65#
- 7.25oz / 16 = 0.453125#
We need to figure the charge from the 13.1# - 25' (use horizontal oz/ft value)
- (25' * 1.65oz) = 41.25oz / 16 = 2.578125#
- 13.1# - 2.578125# = 10.521875#
Now add this to the Circuit 1 charge amount of 8.7#:
10.521875# + 1.65# + 0.453125# = 12.625#
