These steps are good for a factory programmed Symbio 700 a non programmed symbio will be different it is highly recommended to use the app to do any configuration changes.
Once you edit a configuration the steps for the configuration change.
There may be different options that you might not see in this article do to the selection that was made in configuration.
To configure the Symbio 700 without the app follow these steps.
Push the
1) Home button to in sure you start from the beginning.
Push the
2) Down button till the display shows Utilities
3) Push the Enter button
4) Push the down button till the display shows Unit Config
5) Push the Enter button
6) Push the down button till the display shows Edit Unit Config
7) Push the Enter button
1) System Type
A) Push Arrow down button to go to the next configuration step if no change is needed or Enter button to make a change
Selections are (Use the up or down button to change)
1)CVZT (Constant Volume Zone Temperature if the AHU is a CV or if it is a Multi-spd which has to have a VFD for the supply fan it is dependent on the AHU being used)
2) VVZT (Variable Volume Zone Temperature if the AHU is a single zone setup must have a VFD for the supply fan it is dependent on the AHU being used)
1A) Push the Enter Button and it will take you to the next configuration
2) Space controller
A) Push Arrow down button to go to the next configuration step if no change is needed or Enter Button to make the change

A) Conventional T-stat
B) Single Setpoint Zone Sensor
C) Dual Setpoint Zone Sensor
2A) If a change was made push the Enter button and it will take you to the next configuration
3) Indoor Fan Type
A) Push Arrow down button to go to next configuration step if no change is needed or Enter Button to make change

C) Variable Speed (Only when System type VVZT is selected and is not changeable)

B) Heat Pump (If heat pump is selected then Primary heating source will be heatpump and another configuration will be added Secondary Heating Source which then electric heat can be added)
