Problem: The Stub Axle has broken from the blade

Solution: Replace the entire VAV box.
Because of the complexity and sheet metal construction of the VAV air valve, the stub axle cannot be replaced/repaired in the field inside the existing box. A new VAV box must be ordered. Contact the local Sales Team member familiar with the job to price and select a replacement box.
Note: The replacement box cannot be covered through an NCDSPA request. This is not a product defect. It's either caused by misuse/abuse of product, or concealed freight damage. The amount of force it takes to break the stub axel connections is significant. There are hundreds of thousands of stub axles in operation today without any issues.
