How to bypass or remove a TCI-R / LCI-R / BCI-R communication board on a Reliatel Unit
Summary:
Bypassing a TCI-R / LCI-R / BCI-R communicationn interface board could be required for Conventional Thermostat and stand alone application. The communication interface is part of the Reliatel 24vac/mbus diasy chain and requires the communication interface be removed from the diasy chain
Solution:
- Power the unit down
- Locate the RTRM J4 plug and unplug it.
- Locate the Communication Board J2 plug, unplug it, and plug it into the RTRM J4. If there is nothing connected to the Communication Board J2, go to the next step.
- Power the unit back up.
