Electric Heat Control Wiring
With the release of the new A0 cabinet for 3-5T Precedent w/ Symbio 700 controls, there is a change from the larger cabinets in how the electric heat kits are wired. Due to space limitations and electrical requirements, the A0 cabinet does not utilize an Indoor Options Module for anything and can not be configured on these units. For the A0 cabinet, unused I/O on the Symbio 700 and Customer Connection Module were repurposed for features commonly connected to the Indoor Options Module on B0 and larger cabinets.
For the control of the electric heat, the Condenser Fan 2 & 3 outputs were repurposed. This is shown on Sheet 3 Symbio 700 wiring diagram:
For connection, the new heater kit comes with a low voltage harness that connects between Symbio 700 UC P7 and Adapter Board J16. There is an existing harness there from the factory with the condenser fan wiring, that harness should be removed and the new harness from the electric heat kit installed in its place.
