NOTE: See the complete Part document attached for more detail.
Issue most reported to Technical Service is the interface with CN3.
The kit includes several wiring harnesses and components with instructions on how to install.
CN3 Interface Wiring: All Line Voltage
Pins 1-3: Incoming building power
CN3-1 = Earth Ground
CN3-2 = L1
CN3-3 = Neutral (120V/277V) or L2 (208V/230V)
CN3-4, 5, 6: Line voltage taps for motor speed/fan relay
CN3-4 = High Speed (Line voltage)
CN3-5 = Medium Speed (Line voltage)
CN3-6 = Low speed (Line voltage)
Example: 2010 unit with line-powered 1U1 fan relay
- Power wires from 1U1 speed connect to CN3
- Power off before wiring!
- Use J9 harness from 1U1 board; cut high, med, low wires to motor and connect to CN3-4, 5, 6.
- Cap unused wires.
- Same applies if separate relays control each speed (line voltage motor taps).
