Issue:
- Discovering a UC600 KCC controller with JCI BAS caused MS/TP link to lose comm to all devices
- UC600 unresponsive, can't connect with Tracer TU when connected to the link
- TD7 unresponsive when connected to the link
Resolution:
- Apparently the JCI front end also tries to discover the data logs for each point during discovery. This was creating too much traffic on the link increasing the UC600 processor to 100%, comm would drop and TD7 will stop responding.
- Issue also appears when the other vendor sends who-has request
Workaround:
- JCI can disable the data log discovery. Disabling data log discovery allowed for successful installation with no comm issues.
- JCI/other vendor to disable/stop sending Who/Has request. UC600 doesn't have an option to filter like the SC+ does with the BACnet filtering option Synchrony BACnet Service Filtering
- KCC programs comes with too many Datalogs/TU Trends loaded on the UC600. Delete the datalogs if not used.
