Issue:
When I connect the VariTrane F-style boxes with the UCM IV controller to the CCP, they do not show up as "F" boxes and I cannot change them to the correct configuration.
Resolution:
Problem:
When I connect the VariTrane F-style boxes with the UCM IV controller to the CCP, they do not show up as "F" boxes and I cannot change them to the correct configuration.
Solution:
The CCP II was developed before the VariTrane F box and therefore cannot show this configuration as an option. The VAV will communicate and control correctly in spite of this.
Problem:
The CFM reading in Rover does not match the CFM reported in Tracer Summit.
Solution:
Again, this issue stems from the design of the CCPII occuring before the invention of the VariTrane F style VAV box. The box will control correctly to the cfm displayed in Rover, but the reading in Tracer Summit will always be off. As a workaround, you can configure the VAV box as generic and adjust the VFC on the Advanced Configuration tab. Use the following table as a guide.
Â
original config / VariTrane F - Round | Â | Â | new config - Generic | Â |
Inches | default CFM | default VFC | CFM | VFC (modified) |
4 | 260 | 78 | 250 | 81 |
5 | 410 | 82 | 500 | 67 |
6 | 600 | 65 | 600 | 65 |
8 | 1050 | 68 | 1050 | 68 |
10 | 1640 | 70 | 1600 | 72 |

68 | 2400 | 67 |
14 | 3200 | 68 | 3200 | 68 |

In addition, verify the air valve drive time and your minimum and maximum airflows.

- Why is the CCPII displaying a different CFM value than Rover shows?
