Issue:
Varitrac III UCM Zones Unoccupied even though they are members of a Group that is Occupied
Resolution:
Issue:
If a Group is Occupied all the members of that Group should also be occupied barring any override commands.
Discussion:
Zones that have a thumbwheel can be overridden Occupied by pressing the ON button. Zones can also be overridden by using the star (*) and double star (**) setting on the thumbwheel and pressing the ON button.
If the ** Override to Unoccupied function is set in a VAV UCM on a VariTrac III system, the Override to Unoccupied gets passed to all other VAV UCMs in the same group who's address is higher than the UCM where the override was set. So, if Zone 1 was overridden Unoccupied by the ** function every zone that is a member of the same Group as Zone 1 will be affected.
Solution:
To bring the zone out of the Unoccupied state, simply turn the thumbwheel to something other than ** and the zone (along with the other members of the group)Â will return to normal operation.
