What do I need to do Delivered VAV?

Resolution:

Delivered VAV is supported by the VariTrac CCP III only. The CCPII does changeover bypass only. The AHU for a Delivered VAV system must be a Comm4 Commercial Voyager III, and the CCP must have an operator display.

AHU Compatibility 

If the CCP does not see a commercial Voyager, it will assume the system is changeover bypass (no VFD control). The CCP can talk only Comm4. You can't use the LCI (Comm5) card on the Voyager; you need the TCI. You cannot connect an AHU to the relay board and have the CCP run delivered VAV. An IntelliPak cannot be used with a VariTrac CCP system.

Operator Display

A Delivered VAV system requires an operator display on CCP - even if a Tracker is also present. The part number to order an operator display for the CCP is X13760015010. The operator display on a Tracker will also work as a substitute until the CCP display arrives. 

A changeover/Bypass system does not require a display. VariTrac software could be used to program it.  Unfortunately you will not have status either unless you are connected to the system with a PC.
