Issue:

Is it possible to configure VAV boxes from a CCPIII operator display

Resolution:

Configuration properties for VAV boxes such as unit type, unit size, aux heat availability and type, measured flow, and fan availability and type are not available through the CCPIII operator display.  In order to change them it is necessary to use Rover or the CCP PC software.  It is not possible to configure VAV boxes through the Tracker PC software.

Setup properties that are available through the operator display are:  Name, Unit Type, Control Mode (Auto, Heat, Cool), Supply Air Tempering Enable/Disable, discharge Heating Setpoint, Discharge Cooling Setpoint, Min Opposite Callers, Min Opposite Strong Callers, Static Pressure Setpoint Multiplier (ChangeOver Bypass Systems), System Balance Enable/Disable. 

Other properties such as Min. Time To Changeover, Local Priority Heat, Min Outside Air Damper Position, Enable/Disable UCM tagging, Supply Air tempering Setpoint, and Ventilation Control using CO2 levels are not available through the operator display. 

You can limit the local VAV thumbwheel from the CCP3 operator display or the CCP3 software.
It is under the Advanced button on the operator display.

Enabling security is not possible through the operator display.  In the PC software click on the CCP at the base of the tree (or select panel setup from the setup pull down menu of the VariTrac Software) .  Then select the Security tab Enable/Disable is a pull down box.  If security is enabled the supervisor password is needed to access the Security tab.  Default passwords are 1111 (supervisor) and 2222 (operator).  The Magic Password Generator can be used to produce a password if the supervisor password is lost.  After entering the Security Tab as above, a window requesting a password will be displayed.  Leave the field for password blank and hover the cursor over the word Password.  A challenge number will be displayed.  Use this number with the Mini Monitor alternative of Magic Password.  Use a similar procedure at the operator display but use the LCD alternative in Magic Password.
