Issue:
VAV UCM Addresses for CCP III (Varitrac)
Resolution:
The CCP III supports up to 24 zones for Change-over Bypass (CB) or 32 zones if Delivered VAV (DV). The individual zone UCMs are addressed with dip switches on the UCM board. They can be set to any address within the range 124 (for CB) or 1-32 (for DV). Duplicates are not allowed. The communicating Bypass Assembly for a Changeover bypass system must be addressed as #33.Â
Trane GCS recommends a minimum of 2 Zone dampers per system.
Rover will see the addresses as follows.
