Issue:
Can Tracer ES communicate to a BMTK Tracker system?
Resolution:
Tracer ES can communicate to Tracker BMTK. Tracker must have the Ethernet option and be assigned an IP address. Tracer ES cannot communicate with any Tracker EMTK panels.
The low-cost Tracer ES express option can also be used with Tracker; be aware that there are no graphics in Tracker that can be converted for Tracer ES.
Tracker functionality with Tracer ES is similar to what it is with a BCU. Tracer ES can perform schedule overrides and data logging with Tracker as with a BCU.
For a demonstration see the Tracer ES Demo Site from the Tracer ES Portal Page: Tracer ES Portal Page
This is a simulated Tracer ES applied to a small school district, and is connected to actual BCUs, Trackers, and a JACE panel. This system allows you to drive around in a site, perform overrides, create schedules, data logs and etc.
Note the look and feel is the same regardless of what BACnet panel ES is communicating with. "Performance Elementary" and "Decision Elementary" are both Tracker Sites, "Access Elementary" is a Tridium Panel and there are two BMTX sites: "Enterprise High School" and "Comfort Middle School".
