Tracker BMTK VariTrac CCP3 LonTalk integration

Resolution:

 

These two devices use LonTalk to talk to each other but neither device is LonMark certified. 

Trane does not document the Tracker or CCP3 XIF.

 

Both Tracker and CCP3 have a LonTalk XIF. 

The XIF can be read out of each device with Echelon's node util tool.  

 

 

 

Both devices have network variables that use LonMark SNVTs. 

These network variables can be read and written. 

 

 

Both devices have network variables that use Trane defined UNVTs. 

We will not make the definition of these network variables public. 

 

 

Tracker does not use network variable self doc strings. 

You will have to do some experimenting to find the information that you are interested in. 

 

CCP3 does use network variable self doc strings. 

This makes it easier to find the information you are interested in.
