I need to change a STAT 4 from English to French. Just changing the EEPROM chip did not work.
Solution:
You need to change the configuration from English to French. On a Stat 4, this is done from the front panel:
- Choose Begin.
- Choose Override 6 times.
- Use + or - to select the language.
- Choose Begin.
These directions are in the Quick Reference guide but not in the Operations or Installation guides.
