Issue:
Tracker clock runs too fast
Resolution:
The Tracker BMTK uses the 60 Mhz signal on the line voltage to keep time. If the power fails it switches over to the crystal clock until power is restored. When the Tracker is powered up it analyzes the line voltage and chooses either 50 Mhz (European power) or 60 Mhz (USA). So if the Tracker gets confused about this, it will gain 12 minutes per hour. Some things that can confuse the Tracker are: Dirty power--this is almost unheard of in USA, but more common in South America. Frequent Generator testing and backup power plants. UPS systems. Large VFDs that can cause noise on the AC power signal and may speed up the line clock.
