Issue:
Do I need a schedule event on weekends in the EMTK Tracker if the space is unoccupied?
Resolution:
Â
After a communications loss or power failure, a device is controlled to its last specified state for the current day. If no action is found for the current day, Tracker looks to the previous day and uses that event. If no action on the previous day the unit will default to On.Â
This is detailed in the Operators guide under Day-to-day continuity on Page 10 of EMTK OG-8
It is recommended that if units are unoccupied for the day, the best practice is to add a 1st off at 12:01 AM. This will ensure the unit will be unoccupied on those days even with a power or communications interruption
