Issue:

Tracker and VariTrac software latest service packs and upgrade instructions

Resolution:

The Tracker and VariTrac base software must be installed before the service pack can be installed.

 

Tracker V12 SP9, Blue Board image 12.54, Green Board image 12.27

To update a Tracker or VariTrac CCP:

 

1. Follow the instruction in the read-me file. Read the release notes.
2. Back-up all the CCP and Tracker databases.
3. Connect individually to each CCP and install the latest image.
4. Restore the CCP databases.
5. Install the latest image in the Tracker (if it does not have it already).
6. Connect the Tracker to comm and allow it to discover the link.
7. Restore Tracker database. If the old images are pre SPI there may be issues with database files being incompatible with the new image and PC software.

• Install SPIII for Tracker and CCP
• CCPs do not talk to Tracker
• Communication between CCP and Tracker is incomplete
• Tracker/CCP upgrade
• LED service light on in VariTrac CCP after upgrade of Tracker and CCP
