Problem:
The unit controller has a compressor drive alarm.
Compressor drive display shows E - 07. The message will be displayed during or shortly after power up.
Resolution:
Items to check:
- Refrigerant cooling lines on the heat sink
- Inverter board for loose connections
- Inverter board for hot spots or burn marks
The drive is likely defective, and a replacement compressor drive is required.
