Overview:
In June 2023, the CHVAC Technical Support Organization launched a consolidated (customer- and employee-facing), mobile-friendly Help Center (https://support.trane.com) for streamlined self-service and Technical Support interactions.
This article provides instructions for IWD and DSO associates within our RHVAC business unit, on how to properly Authenticate your account for FSR access to our Commercial Technical Support Help Center, including the appropriate forms for contacting us on behalf of yourselves and your customers. FSR's will be able to request technical support for units < 5 years from the Manufacture Date. FSR's will no longer be able to initiate a direct contractor support. Contractors can self-request a direct support on units <18 months from the Manufacture Date. Support is limited to Light Unitary products only. Calls cannot be transferred to other Technical Support groups.
Instructions for DSO
For Trane DSO associates who have @trane.com / @tranetechnologies.com email addresses, simply navigate to https://support.trane.com and sign in (upper right corner of every page) using the "Sign In: Trane Email" option, and follow the prompts of our Single Sign-on and multi-factor authentication system, as shown below.
After entering the SSO required information you will be directed back to the Help Center where you will select Request Live Tech Support. This will initiate the "Submit a request" form.
Instructions for IWD
For those who only have (or prefer to use) an IWD @company.com email addresses for your daily job, you will need to first "Sign Up" for an account by associating a password and cellphone number with your work email address.
Trane IWD Registration:
- Follow the prompts to set a new password for your @company.com email address. Please use the "Register
Trane IWD Sign-in:
- Once your password has been configured, simply log in to the "Sign-in: Non-Trane Email" option and you will have full access to all CHVAC equipment information and appropriate technical support request forms.
If you are unable to see relevant articles are submit a ticket for support after logging in please contact Patric Allen (PATRIC.ALLEN@tranetechnologies.com) to confirm your email address is listed on Active FSR list.
