Parts supplied in Creative Solutions modifications are not found on ComfortSite or available through typical parts lookup channels.
You'll need the following information to identify & order parts on a unit modified by Creative Solutions:
1. Special Unit label Job Number which starts with CST and is located at the top of the Creative Solutions supplementary label. When a unit is modified by Creative Solutions, two supplementary labels are placed on the equipment which lists important information about the modification. One is located on the outside of the unit in close proximity to original equipment standard model/serial nameplate tag. The second label may be located on the inside of an electric panel near the standard unit drawings. A label has been included below to serve as an example.
2. Unit serial number. (Note: The serial number used by Creative is the same serial number assigned by the original Trane factory.)
3. Picture of the component or the supplier's model/serial tag for expedited part number look-up. For pumps, capture a photo of the pump model/serial tag and not to motor if requesting pump specific parts (seals, gaskets etc.)
With the above information in hand, contact Creative Solutions support by at https://support.trane.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Support staff are available Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm EST.
If the part fails within the warranty period, Creative Solutions will ship the replacement part(s) to the address you provide. If the unit is outside of the warranty period, Creative Solutions will assist in identifying the part and forwarding ordering instructions.
Tips for expedited processing
If the part you need does not have a Trane part number associated with it, Trane Supply can still assist with procuring the replacement through Trane's Field Purchasing Team. You will need to provide your Trane Supply representative with the part vendor name and vendor part number. Part numbers may be located on the Creative Solutions supplied As-Built drawings that are shipped with the unit and will be found in a box called out as "CST Replacement Parts". The box is typically located near the notes section or legend.
