Summary:
Discharge temperature protection for system A/B
Possible Cause:
- EEV/filter drier/indoor coil blocked
- Under charged
- Indoor unit motor stopped abnormally
- Poor heat exchange on the outdoor coil
- Discharge temperature sensor (T5) fault
Troubleshooting:
- If the ambient temperature is beyond 125°F - no need to have service
- If the T5 sensor fails - replace the sensor
- If the unit is under charge - adjust the refrigerant
- If there is poor heat exchange on the high-pressure side - correct it
- If there is a blockage - correct it
