Service Alert Summary:
Modulating gas heat units may produce multiple nuisance alarms reporting "Diagnostic: Modulating Gas Invalid ID Plug Manifold 1" and "Diagnostic: Gas Heat Lockout Manifold 1" after updating to Symbio 700 firmware version 7.02
What are known Diagnostics or Symptoms:
The initial issue was identified as originating from the manner in which the Symbio 700 managed the routine reboots of the VB1285 Ignition Controller. The initial fix in v7.02 changed how Symbio 700 handled these alarms, but in some instances the alarms may come back. Further improvements were added to allow Symbio to wait for the controller to fully reboot and then validate the alarm before passing it to the event log.
