The evaporator may become clogged due to air bypassing the filters during normal operation. There is a gap that has been found on some units that may allow debris to attach to the evaporator surface and block proper airflow.
What are known Diagnostics or Symptoms:
Units in the field may show signs of the evaporator coil surface becoming clogged prematurely between normal maintenance schedules. Nuisant error codes do to lower refrigerant operating pressures and poor airflow quality may be observed.
