- The E-108 Error is A Duplicate address for the VRF SC /BACnet Gateway.
- This is the R-1/2Contol layer, has nothing to do with the F-1/2, F-3/4 or OF-1/2 Wires.
- I have seen in cases you can remove the R-1/2 wires form the outdoor unit, go into the TUT and change the 5th digit to 0 from a1for all the indoor units in the Add on Tab/Indoor option writer/Installation code , which disables Central control for the Indoor units and do a power cycle , I've seen this work for temporary operation , you will lose control of the BAS Platform until the Addressing is resolved .
- This occurs when two main outdoor units are set to the same centralized address.
- If the main control board has been replaced with a new Eeprom , this will occur.
- If someone inadvertently changes this with the K2 button, the addresses available are 0-15.
-
- I usually set one of them to 15 just to get the system running and 15 is not often used, it will lose it in the BAS until it's retacked in the VREF SC Gateway, but it should run off default settings.
- Anytime a VRF SC Is replaced it has to retrack the systems in most cases, but the central address should stay at the outdoor unit.
- By pressing K2 and holding it for 5 seconds you should see below:
-
- By pressing the K1 button 13 times you should see below :
-
- Use the K2 button to set address 0 through 15.
