REPLACING THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD – Trane Commercial HVAC Help Center

When you are replacing the Main control Board , if it comes with a new Eeprom , it is blank and will need to be Programmed through TUT or SNET.
If the old Eeprom is defective, you will need to do a hot swap with a working outdoor unit!
If existing Eeprom is still good, you would want to use it, to at least until you can get the new one programmed with a hot swap.
When you download your file from the outdoor files, save it to downloads, its in a Zip file that will need te extracted and wrote out in the File Name when downloading to the Eeprom.
