This purpose of this article is to show how the Medium Foundation unit crankcase heaters are controlled.
The crankcase heaters are controlled off the temperature of the T5 Discharge sensors. If either of the T5A / T5B sensor on Circuit A or Circuit B reads less than 41℉ that circuits compressor crankcase heater will energize.
If either of the T5A / T5B sensor on Circuit A or Circuit B reads more than 45℉ that circuits compressor crankcase heater will de-energize.
On power up of the unit disconnect the crankcase heaters are in standby for up to 3hrs.
