How do you average multiple zone temp sensors?

Issue

How to average multiple zone temp sensors?

Resolution

Zone temp sensors can be averaged by connecting them in a parallel series combination.
This can be done with 4, 9,16 or 25 sensors.  If Display sensor is used, Display sensor common must be connected to unit controller common (must be last in line) for display to work.

Average 10K Thermistors

Notes

The Pivot thermostat has a remote sensor input on the wiring diagram; you can use one Pivot thermostat with (4) remote sensors in series.

Below are two ways of wiring the senors (R1, R2, R2, and R4);

This can be done with discreet zone sensor or by wiring extra thermistors in one or more zone sensors.

The thermostat will not average the internal temperature sensor with the remote, you select either remote or internal sensor.
