Beginning# October 2025 all Unit Vents with outside air dampers have a redesigned damper.
The main points of differentiation from the old damper design are:
- The new design is tested to AMCE class 2/3 leakage
- Reduced internal static pressure by improving filter utilization. The old design restricted airflow to the filter.
- Improved damper rod. Coated to reduce corrosion and square to reduce actuator slippage.
- Designed for easy replacement of old dampers.
