What is the Help Center?
The Trane Commercial HVAC Help Center is an ever-evolving repository of self-service articles covering most of the Trane Commercial Product Portfolio. This content is generally available to anyone without needing to sign up or log in.
However, Technical Support for LCU products does require you to Self-Register and sign in through our mobile-friendly Help Center.
Using the Help Center
Much like Google, you can use the search field on any of the pages in the Help Center to search for articles based on your query.
★ For the best results enter the 3 or 4-digit model number prefix of your equipment followed by the issue or the symptom you're experiencing into your search.
The search results page will display an AI generated Quick answer at the top in an effort to surface the most relevant information based on your query. The Quick answer provides insight based on relevant articles from the Help Center, which are displayed beneath the answer.
This Quick answer section also includes A) a field to ask follow-up questions, and B) gives you the option to "vote" if the results were helpful by clicking the thumbs-up to indicate it was helpful, or the thumbs-down to indicate it was not helpful.
It's also possible to narrow your search results using the category filter found at the top of the page on mobile, and on the left side of the page on desktop.

Navigating the Help Center
We strongly recommend searching for the content you're looking for, however, we understand that some people prefer to browse, and that's easy in our Help Center as well.
Our homepage has a tile for each category in the Help Center.
Clicking on a tile will take you into the category. If any articles have been published to any of the sections within the selected category within the last 30 calendar days, it will show up in the Recently Published container at the top of the category.
This helps ensure our newest content is easily accessible to those browsing our Help Center.
Beneath the Recently Published container you will see a list displaying each section within the category. Each section will display up to 6 articles from each section as a preview. Clicking on a section name, will take you into the section and display all of its contents, including any sub-sections (which appear at the top of the page as tiles of their own).
