Issue:
Is there a BACnet Thermostat available for Light Commercial Unitary Products?
Resolution:
A BACnet-compliant Thermostat is currently offered through the Controls Group as a possible solution to using Electromechanical Precedents, Foundation units, or when a BACnet retrofit is being conducted on older Voyager II UCP (with a CTI) micro-controlled units. These thermostats will output a 24vac signal when communicated to do so by BACnet. The ability to wire three individual sensors (10kOhm at 77 degrees) and two switches back to these thermostats is possible for readout at the front end system.
