BCI2-R using embedded service tool to clear and rebuilding the points

To clear BCI2-R using the embedded service tool and rebuilding the points, you can follow the general steps:
No special software required all you need to use is a web browser for examples Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Type IP address 198.80.18.1
Step 1) Power unit off and connect USB cable to controller USB will power the controller to do this process. Open web browser and type in address 198.80.18.1

Step 2) Fig.1 Click onto Login.

Step 3) Once clicking onto the login the screen will show Fig. 2 Click on tools.

Step 4) Once in tools click onto Backup and Restore Fig. 3

Step 4) Click on Clear controller Fig. 4

Step 5) Click on confirm Fig. 5

Step 6) A window will appear Success click on Ok to continue Fig.6

Step 7)
1) Click on Yes.
2) Click on Continue.
3) Once that is done it will revert back to Fig. 2
4) Disconnect from the controller wait 30 seconds.
5) Power unit up and wait 5 minutes for the controller to pull the points back into the controller before connecting with the USB cable.
Step 8) - Trane Tracer SC+ only
If installed on a Tracer SC+ it may be necessary to refresh the equipment.
1) In Synchrony select the Devices tab
2) Check the checkbox next to the device
3) From the actions tab at the top of the list select Refresh
4) If the refresh fails, the BCI2 BACnet address has probably changed. This can be addressed by selecting Replace instead of Refresh and discovering the Link that the controller is connected to. Follow the prompts until complete.
