Issue:
Original EXV style SEO is obsolete and replaced with SEHI valves.
Resolution:
All EXVs and the 1U3/1U8 modules must be replaced to properly perform this upgrade. Reference Service Bulletin PART-SVN118D-EN (attached below) for installation instructions which include the new wiring assignments as shown here.

A new EPROM may be required for the 1U3 and 1U8. This prevents an issue if the chiller has been upgraded to the CLD Controls. The unit will indicate "STARTING" but it will not actually start. Consult with Trane Technical Support for details.
