Issue:
Is it possible to disable the "B" compressor on circuit one on a three compressor chiller?
Resolution:
1. Be sure the chiller switch is in the STOP/RESET position.
2. Go into the UCM menu item 50 and change it from 3 compressors to 2.
3. Remove power from the chiller.
4. Remove fuse F1 from the 1U5 module.
5. Re-apply power to the chiller.
6. Change the address dip switch on the 1U6 module from 1=On, 2=Off to 1=Off, 2=On.
7. If the compressors are different sizes, change menu item 56 current overload setting and the 1U6 dip switch settings to correspond with the compressor that is now running.
8. Re-start the chiller.
Notes:
This procedure does NOT apply if compressor "1A" is down on a three compressor chiller.
