Issue:
Compressor loads and unloads in large amperage jumps instead of gradually
Resolution:
- Problem may be in either solenoid valves, 1U16 and/or 1U21 dual triac LLIDs, or with male piston in the compressor.
- Use process of elimination to find the source.
- Swap 1U16 and 1U21 LLID to see if problem follows or stays.
- Swap load/unload solenoid valve coils between compressors to see if problem follows or stays.
- If none of the above work, then the male piston on the compressor may need to be changed out. See RTAC-SVD02B-EN for instructions as well additional troubleshooting procedures for this model of compressor.
