Issue:
High Motor Temperature
Resolution:
RTWD / RTUD Chillers:
- This diagnostic is annunciated when the 115V is not seen on the 1A11 inputs through the motor thermostats
- Check thermostat wiring on terminals BT to GT; GT to RT; and RT to W
- If the 115V is not present, the 1F15 fuse could also be blown
- If the fuse is blown, both High Motor Winding Thermostat Circuit 1 and Circuit 2 will be present
- This diagnostic is valid whether the chiller is running or not
- The winding thermostat will open at 221F and re-close at 180F.
Notes:
This diagnostic applies to "K" and "L" frame GP2 (CHHP) compressors.
The "M" and "N" frame compressors do not have winding t-stat.
