Issue:
What's the difference between ice-making and low temp?
Resolution:
RTWD/RTUD
RTWD can be used for both ice-making and low temperature process solutions. The options are selectable in TOPSS (or latest software) and the chiller will be built with HiVi compressors for high lift (vs. standard LoVi - optimized for higher efficiency at lower lift) and an oil cooler. The ice-making option will also require the ice-making LLID selected.
The RTUD is selectable in TOPSS (or latest software) with low temperature process solutions. The RTUD can also be used for ice-making, but this will require a design special.
RTUD is always built with HiVi compressors and an oil cooler.
