Issue:
Over Current diagnostic
Resolution:
- Attach a gauge set hose to the Schrader near the unload solenoid valve on top of the compressor
- Vent the gauge set to the top of the evaporator
- See if the compressor unloads and when the gauge set valve is closed, will it stay in the same position
- If not successful on isolating cause, than the oil tank will have to be removed and the internal line that feeds oil to the piston cavity should be examined for cracking

- If the internal oil line is not cracked, then the piston may need replacement or rebuilt
