Issue:
1K24 and 1K25
Resolution:
ECWS = External Chilled Water Setpoint
EDLS = External Demand Limit Setpoint
- Both the 1K24 and 1K25 modules are required for ECWS and EDLS
- 1K24 is the input module for both of these features
- 1K25 module is to enable what is called "Auxiliary Setpoint Enable" input, which is the alternate chilled water setpoint
- Example: the chiller's Front Panel (FP) setpoint is 45*F and the alternate (external CWS) is 48*F. When the unit runs under FP the active chilled water setpoint (CWSP) will be 45*F, but if the input at the 1K25 is closed the active CWSP will be 48*F
- 1K25 enables the hierarchy for the chiller controller to listen to either, the FP or the External setpoint
- 1K24 provides the external setpoint
Notes:
When ordered as a factory installed option on RTAF, both 1K24 and 1K25 modules are included.
RTAF control option (digit 33): A, B, C, E, G, H
Changes:
Other Question/Problem/Cause Statements:
- What is 1K25 used for?
- EXTERNAL chilled water setpoint (CWS) and external current limit setpoint (CLS)
- 1K25 module = optional auxiliary setpoint enable
