Leaking Motor Winding Temperature Sensors Terminal
Resolution:
RTHA/RTHB CHHA compressor
Unfortunately, the only way to repair the leak is to evacuate the compressor and remove the economizer cover and replace the sensor terminal.
Contact the Trane Parts Center for the correct replacement part, KIT02206; TEMP SENSOR REPAIR (REQUIRES Gaskets: GKT1642 FOR 130/215T OR GKT1653 FOR 255/300T OR GKT2822 FOR 380/450T).
See RLC-SG-1 for reference on access to the motor terminal / temperature sensor terminal internal to the compressor.
