Issue:
Why isn't the second compressor on each circuit coming on?
Resolution:
There is a KW inhibit input on the 1A7 LLID across terminals J2-3 & 4. If this input is seen open, the second compressor on each circuit will be locked out and the operating mode will be running limit; sub operating mode will be maximum capacity; compressor inhibit. This input needs to be shorted to allow the second compressor of each circuit to run.
Notes:
There is another limit - Hot Start Capacity Limit - that will also keep the second compressor on each circuit from coming on. This limit is in effect whenever the evaporator leaving water temperature is above 71 deg F. The second compressor will remain inhibited until evaporator leaving water temperature falls below 66 deg F.
