Issue:
Motor terminal connectors (Spark Plugs) cracked. How are these replaced?
Resolution:
RTHA, RTHB Chillers/Compressors:
- Refer to RTHA-SB-15 for compressor disassembly instructions and information.

To separate the economizer cover from the motor housing:
- Choose one of the holes on the economizer cover.
- "Tap" this hole for a larger bolt ("tap" at least 1/2 the thickness of the economizer cover).
- Use this hole in a "jacking bolt" configuration to separate/pop the economizer cover from the motor housing (this is a gasket connection).
- Follow remaining procedures in RTHA-SB-15 for access to the motor terminals.
- Replace motor terminals per service guide RLC-SG-1.
