Issue:
Demand Limit
Resolution / Discussion:
- Demand Limit limits the maximum number of running compressors in order to control chiller power consumption / capacity.
- DynaView / CH530 controls shall provide a means to limit the maximum number of running compressors. The maximum number of compressors allowed to run can vary from zero to the number of compressors on the unit / chiller.
- When demand limit is in effect, and the staging algorithm desires more compressors than the Active Demand Limit Setpoint will allow; an appropriate operating submode shall be displayed (Maximum Capacity).
Other Question/Problem/Cause Statements:
- How to limit the number of compressors that can run?
- Is there a way to limit the number of compressor running on this chiller?
- How do I limit the number of compressors running on this chiller?
