What low pressure controls have to be changed when converting a CGAF to low leaving water temperature?
Resolution:
The following parts can be used to modify a unit in the field from a factory ordered leaving water temperature to a lower leaving water temperature. It is recommended all changes are verified through the Field Modifications Group in La Crosse. This information is for REFERENCE ONLY.
PLATE AND FRAME EVAPORATOR:
THESE MECHANICAL MODIFICATIONS APPLY ONLY TO CGAF CHILLERS WITH PLATE AND FRAME EVAPORATORS.
The system must have appropriate amount of Glycol to run at low temperatures.
