Issue:

High Pressure Cutout

Resolution:

• The high pressure switch (HPC) is set at 90% of the high side relief valve. 
• The relief valve on RTHB is 300psi, therefore, the HPC is 270 psi. 
• There is a setting in the Machine Configuration Group for High Pressure Cutout Setting. 
• The value of this setting will determine when the chiller will go into condenser limit mode. 
• The HPC is a mechanical switch and has no correlation to this setting.

Notes:     Not until March of 1997 was a Schrader valve installed underneath the HPC
